Why I Believe Home Fragrance Should Feel Comforting, Not Overpowering
There is nothing quite like walking into a home that smells beautiful.
The right fragrance can instantly make a space feel warm, welcoming and relaxing. It can turn an ordinary evening into a moment of comfort, whether you're curling up with a book, enjoying a bath or simply taking a break from a busy day.
But over the years, I realised that not everyone enjoys strong fragrances in the same way.
As someone who lives with asthma, I've become much more aware of the products I use in my home and the ingredients they contain. While I love beautiful scents, I don't enjoy fragrances that feel overwhelming or overpower a room.
That personal experience became one of the reasons I started creating handmade soya wax melts using carefully selected alcohol-free fragrance oils.
Beautiful Fragrance Doesn't Have To Be Overwhelming
Many wax melts on the market are designed to create the strongest scent throw possible.
For some people, that's exactly what they're looking for.
For me, it wasn't.

Alcohol-free fragrances aren't always the strongest option available.
Some fragrance oils containing alcohol can create a more immediate and powerful scent throw.
But strength has never been my goal.
My goal has always been to create a fragrance experience that feels enjoyable, comfortable and inviting.
For me, a fragrance should enhance a room, not overwhelm it.
That's why I choose alcohol-free fragrance oils, even if it means accepting a slightly gentler scent.

Recent research has encouraged both consumers and manufacturers to think more carefully about indoor air quality and the products we use in our homes.
